About The Department

The Department of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities nurtures critical thinkers, communicators, and social changemakers. Students are immersed in disciplines that explore human relationships, culture, development, and ethics. This department offers programs in community development, social work, communication, and education, among others. Through a blend of classroom instruction and community-based experiences, students learn to address social challenges with empathy, insight, and innovation. Graduates are well-prepared for impactful roles in NGOs, public institutions, education sectors, and grassroots organizations. The department emphasizes leadership, civic responsibility, and inclusive development in all of its offerings

Community based rehabilitation

Focuses on empowering individuals with disabilities through community-based approaches. Covers rehabilitation techniques, social inclusion, and advocacy.

Social Work

Prepares students to support individuals, families, and communities in need. Covers counseling, social policy, and community development.

Community Development

Equips students with skills to facilitate sustainable development in communities. Covers project management, participatory approaches, and development theories.
