About The Department
The Department of Health and Allied Sciences is the foundation of Tandabui Polytechnic Institute's long-standing reputation for excellence in health education. This department is dedicated to training highly skilled, ethical, and compassionate professionals who are ready to meet the growing healthcare needs of Tanzania and the wider region. Offering a diverse range of programs;- including Clinical Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Health Records, and Clinical Dentistry. The department provides students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical experience. With strong affiliations to hospitals, clinics, and community health centers, learners benefit from real-world exposure and practical skill-building throughout their studies. The department fosters an environment of inquiry, innovation, and continuous improvement.
